UPDATE: McBob Signs With Heat

Recommended Posts

I see where you're coming from, but if bad drafting makes you feel bad for a fanbase you must be in tears for Bobcats/Hornets fans.

It's not bad drafting - it's having ridiculous odds of getting the number one pick and still getting it ..more than once

Yeah, those aren't odds. It was the NBA paying them in picks for LeBron.

But, Cleveland still sucks. That's why I wouldn't mind them winning the chip. And at least at that point, their fans wouldn't have anything else to bitch about... well, nevermind, they still have the Browns lol.

Heat got mcbob wtf. I don't understand how they can afford to also sign the big three as well. I believe they also signed Granger. It would be nice to see the big three split up and Miami loose out on signing any big name free agents.

I agree. It's why I kind of want to see Lebron sign with the Cavs, so we can stop with these draft picks out of pity. :)

Then again, minus the fact that anybody would rather live in Miami than Cleveland (I've been to both, and Cleveland makes Charlotte look like Las Vegas), Dan Gilbert is going to prevent that from ever happening. Ever heard the old saying, "don't burn your bridges"? Dan burned that Lebron bridge to the Cavs years ago, like a complete fool. If they are LUCKY, he returns an old man and tries to win one like Jordan playing for the Wizards. In his prime, he stays in Miami (his best option, as long as Bosh stays too).

I wanted him back- only because Cho and the team wanted him back.. there were times last year i was outraged at him and couldnt wait for a replacement to be found.. now that he is gone AND for that amount of money- i can say im happy, but we do now need to make a move in the near future.. there were times Zeller was way more effective coming off the bench and if you equated his minutes into starter minutes, he woulda been balling compared to McBob

McBob-- 8.5 ppg.. 4.3 apg.. 4.5 rpg

Hump--- 8.5 ppg.. 1.0 apg.. 5.9 rpg

Marvin-- 9.1 ppg.. 1.0 apg.. 5.1 rpg

-----------------------------------------

C.Zeller-- 6.0 ppg.. 1.0 apg.. 4.3 rpg

just FYI..

I belive Humphries only averaged 18 minutes per game. His per 36's are at 15 and 10.

He is better player right now then Battier.

Btw, has anyone read the ESPN comments for this? Those people are going off on the Heat. I feel kind of bad for McRoberts right now. Aside from the fact he's making 6 million a year.

I don't, he's the enemy now.

    • Him and Sanders are the only QBs I would consider in the first round. I won’t be upset if we take Sanders, unlike some people on the board. Both have potential to be really good NFL QBs if the teams can develop them.  But as we have seen teams are not willing or are unable to now properly develop rookie QBs.
    • I remember the last time we had a Cam at QB in Charlotte
    • Because Young is so historically bad that it just skews too far outside the normal deviations that perspective is easily lost. That or they just don't want to believe it.  The struggles last year would have been more about the infighting and poor roster building or idiot owner's hiring practices than with Stroud. He wouldn't have been as good but he wouldn't have been ruined here and the pressure was not Carr-esk if you take out the Young created portion from his playing style.  Dude is a young guy on a team coached by a Defensive guy building a good D but not building up the O in year 2 of his HC 1st time gig. Seems familiar... Go look at his output this year and not just some crappy Thursday night implosion game, I would take that in a second and never ever look back every time without a shred of doubt while eating 4 of those games a year with a giant smile on my face.
