Josh Gordon Drove PJ's car in DWI Arrest

Exactly what is the legal issue or what kind of trouble did he get into by letting someone borrow his car?

No legal issues in loaning a car, but it sounds like a bit more than that to me.  Just trying to put the pieces together in my head.  Lets not forget that Gordon got a DWI.  Lending someone your car to someone you just met is obviously poor judgement to say the least.  Thankful PJ didn't get into any trouble.  This isn't the NCAA so there won't be any private investigations, but I'd be willing to bet there is just a tad bit more to the story than I switched cars with him, then he goes to jail, and a guy who played a large part in ruining my college eligibility bails him out does not ring the same innocents as "I was just being generous."  I really don't care, so long as he doesn't let it distract him, but I would bet money that they were hanging that night at least to some extent.  If you know the area where Gordon got pulled then you know where he was driving from.  Thats a place where this Fats Thomas "knows some people."  Long story short, as it seems to me, PJ may have made at least one good decision that night not to participate in that at least.

Do they give out compensatory picks for fuggin idiots? Honestly, I wish he would do something to get locked up. I'd hate it for the Hornets, but he absolutely deserves it for the crap he's done.

ItsPatone, you sure are using a lot of guesses in the intention of what PJ does. Let's keep in mind to blow a .09 is about 3 beers so let's put in perspective what a DWI really is instead of just a number that people can't comprehend. Your view of poor judgment for borrowing a car is complete bs. First off I've done this on several occasions and have never had an issue. Your not trading a escalade for a pinto. He already knew who the person was and he was getting similar value in return for the night. It's not a big deal to borrow a car you like for a night. It's a hell of a lot cheaper, gives you an experience without having to deal with car dealers.

These aren't just guesses my friend.  They are at least educated guesses.  I've been around this way for quite sometime and not only have I known many people who were around PJ on a regular basis while he was here, I've also known of and seen some of the "accomplices."  Nothing I know is fact other than minor details like where PJ was most likely staying when he was in chapel hill.  But Im pretty much more than sure I know where Josh Gordon was leaving when he got pulled.  There are possible connections there, but luckily this is the NCAA so it wouldn't be worth it for anyone to try and connect the dots as PJ wasn't involved/charged with a crime that night.  In Gordons case DWI is a DWI.  I'm no judge, but he will definitely have to see one.

The bottom line is the conditions as well as some of the connections are along the same lines as what got him in trouble at UNC.  He has been in the press with some negative connotations consistent with the troubles in his past.  Its enough of a problem for his head coach to tell the press he'd rather be meeting with him over his defense and shot selection than his behavior.  That in my opinion is a pretty major call out.

I've got faith in PJ.  But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't at least a bit concerned with how he's starting his career.  Again, luckily for him nothing resulted in any real trouble for him.  I can at least give him credit for that all things considered.

Won't be long now... He's trouble. Always was. Always will be. He's too dumb to stay out of trouble.

Josh Gordon (the biggest moron in professional sports) was just issued a DWI in Hairston's car. There's no way a friendship with Gordon could possibly end well when you're already known for trouble, too.

Hairston’s agent, Juan Morrow, identifies himself as a “certified player agent” on his website and social media profiles for his agency, Upside Media Group.

According to the National Basketball Players Association, that’s not true.

In fact, Robert Gadson, director of the NBPA’s Security and Agent Administration Department told Sporting News on Thursday that there is “no record of a Juan Morrow in (the NBPA’s) files, nor is there record of an applicant by that name.”

    • According to the talking heads of the sports world, this is a pretty meh QB class.  Sanders and Ward are the only two with first round buzz, but the rest are blah.  Take that for what you will. Let's see how Bryce does in year three.  That's just where we are.  Patience is the key here.  Players need time to develop.  They can't develop if they don't play.  Bryce has made some really good throws, but he doesn't look like CJ Stroud.  That's going to be his point of comparison the rest of their careers.  The ball doesn't explode off Bryce's hand, it's not a cannon ball shot out of a cannon.  He's not going to break a 70 yard run.   Bryce is going to have to continue to make good throws and make plays.  Part of that is going to depend on the play calls.  Part of it is based on the skill players.  A couple drops picked up yesterday and it's a win and Bryce throws 1-2 more TDs.  A completely different story. It's been a crazy year indeed.  I just want to see Bryce continue to develop.  To see XL become more consistent.  To see JT fully recover (not play this season if he's not healthy).  I want to see Coker continue to make plays.  I'd love to see Brooks get more touches and Chubba continue to hammer defenses. Then this approaching offseason, let's go back to the D and work on fixing it.
    • Prime is already gone boss.  Nothing left for team Sanders in college football.
    • Justin Fields’ fifth-year option was declined by the Steelers in April. Without a new contract, he will be a free agent in March. I am pulling for Bryce Young to look good the rest of the season, but if he doesn't, how many of you would be on board for the Panthers to try signing Justin Fields?
