Apparently Johnny Manziel does coke.

"Mr. I see the future" over here.

How about expecting a heisman winning qb to do just as good as the other heisman winning qbs that have come out in the past few years. Cam rg3 and The Golden Calf of Bristol all have taken their teams to the playoffs. There's no reason to expect Johnny can't do the same unless you hate the kid from some other reason which you have shown time and time again

Using The Golden Calf of Bristol and RG3 as measures of a successful quarterback?  Wow

But yeah, I absolutely expect him to equal the success of recent Heisman winning QBs.  Guys like The Golden Calf of Bristol, Sam Bradford, Troy Smith, Matt Leinart, Jason White, Eric Crouch, Chris Weinke...I'm sure he'll fit right in with that bunch.

Tip for future discussion: If you want to talk about a quarterback being set for success, don't use his winning the Heisman as a talking point.  It's been a longstanding trend that Heisman winners succeeding in the pros is the exception, not the rule.  Heck, over the last 20 years or so. the list of Heisman winners crossmatches pretty well with the list of biggest draft busts.

Manziel's obviously already on list number one.  I suspect he'll be added to list number two somewhere down the road.

Dude, I know you are trying to make a point. But...you can't be serious with the two QBs you chose to use. One is out of the league, and the other is still trying to prove he belongs.

Manzeil and Cleveland have both got a long way to go to be successful. If it ever happens, you will be right. But don't be to upset when/if it doesn't happen. Johnny has a long way to go to prove to folks he is more than just a selfish rich kid with talent. Very few people believe he has the intestinal fortitude to succeed.

He may surprise us and start taking football seriously. But at the moment, it appears as though football is second on his priority list.
