Trading For Josh Gordon Wasn't a Great Idea in Retrospect

The guy is talented for sure but is either really, really dumb or has serious addiction problems... Or both...

I thought marijuana was not addictive.

The Browns and the NFL have done more than enough to help this guy.  He was given recources, counseling, help, etc.  He refuses to accept it and completely refuses to accept that he is accountable for his actions and decisions.

I do not feel sorry for him.  I think it is sad and pathetic that someone can be so stupid and immature that he would throw away a lucrative NFL career for this dumb poo.  Whether he plays again or not, who knows.  But, I will damn sure bet anyone here that once he is done in the NFL (which could be now), he will end up broke and in constant trouble with the law (and I am not talking about DWI's).

Guy is an idiot....not someone to have pity for.

It's not addictive as far as I know... I was assuming the DUI was for alcohol, was it not?  Either way, he does have his head up his ass...  he could play football at a high level for the next 6-8 years, make $50 million plus, and then spend the rest of his life partying and goofing...

I think this guys issues go WAY deeper than addictions.  He has no concept that there are consequences for his decisions and actions....probably reinforced his entire life.  Too often great athletes are treated as special (that the rules do not apply to them) for a VERY young age.

Sad really that he is about to piss away an opportunity that most would do ANYTHING to have.
