Josh Gordon arrested again.....

At least Dez has appeared to have learned but Flash Gordon? Jeez, you have to start believing that he's purposely doing this poo for some reason. Surely, no one would be stupid enough to risk millions upon millions of dollars... continuously.

Probably because dez has a 24 hour security team with him at all times. After the 2nd incident with Josh, I do not know why the browns didn't do the same.

He's stupid, for sure. But is he Satan himself, and should he be deemed "untouchable"?

Not until a firearm possession charge enters the picture.

Agreed, I almost sympathize with his bad fortune considering it was the fourth of July and he was barely over the limit. I just wonder if he is crying out for help or something. Maybe he should get with Brandon Marshall.

Lol how can you say he is low risk with a straight face.

He is the Merriam fuging Webster dictionary definition of high risk.

Next time he won't get pulled over by the cops. He's gonna crash his car and kill himself and probably somebody else as well.

Haha, look all he's done is fail a drug test, get suspended, fail another drug test, get kicked out of Baylor, transfer, declare too late for the supplemental draft, sit out a year at Utah, declare again for the supplemental draft, fail another drug test, get suspended again, fail a fourth drug test, then get a dwi while appealing the latest drug test.

This is a man who has his poo together.

I mean if people said he's worth a looksie in two years, sure. But two years is forever in football. He'll probably never play again so it's not worth the discussion.

More like, you should realize that your judgments are ignorance-based. Thanks for yet again reaffirming what I said to begin with.

Anyway.

You don't know what you don't know, and you can't predict the future, which is why sometimes you take a chance on "talented" guys who still need to mature (if you can do it for a reasonable price), because 1) they could mature, and 2) most people are hiding things that could've gotten them arrested at some point.

Plenty of people around this country got DWIs on the 4th. Gordon is a moron, but a holiday DWI and smoking marijuana aren't the biggest of deals to me, and those types of incidents don't usually end up being "gateway crimes" to bigger ones.

Some organization is going to say, "we are run more competently than the Browns, we can handle him better," and take a risk on him. And they won't break the bank doing it either.

You said "guys like Josh Gordon". There aren't a whole lot of guys "like" Gordon talent-wise. If this was Josh Norman, he'd have been gone after the first offense.

A guy suggesting we should take a chance on Josh Gordon questioning someone else's judgement...

Signing a player like Gordon means throwing a million dollars plus at a guy and devoting a roster spot to someone who's already shown a history of being unreliable even in situations where his career, salary and life are on the line.

One of the top rules you;ll hear from people who run high level businesses, including sports franchises, is this: Don't put yourself in the position of depending on someone who's undependable.

He's not going to be drummed out of society, but there's no such thing as a right to get paid millions of dollars to play football.  It's a privilege, and it comes with requirements, which Gordon has completely blown.  And that's why he won't be playing a down of pro football anytime soon...

If ever.

Under the scenario I presented, you would not be throwing "a million dollars plus" at him, or are you illiterate?

No, just in touch with reality.

You might have heard of it.  It's a place where the kind of ridiculously idealistic scenario you imagine will never happen.

Aaaaand it gets just a little kookier...

Gordon’s $500 bond was paid by Haydn “Fats” Thomas, who has a long history in the Raleigh area.

A well-known hustler in the Triangle, Thomas has been connected to other automotive misadventures.

When former North Carolina basketball star P.J. Hairston was stopped and busted for possession of marijuana, he was driving a car which was rented by Thomas. Hairston ended up tossed out of UNC and spent a year in the D-League before he was drafted by the Hornets this summer.

Thomas is described as a “party promoter” and is a convicted felon.

PFT: Gordon keeps interesting company
