The biggest misconception of this franchise currently is that we are going all in to win now. The reality is this is still a young team in a rebuild. We just happened to hire an awesome coach and sign an all-NBA center that snuck us into the playoffs last season.

Cho is going to keep sticking to his financial plan and it's going to hopefully pay off in the long-term. If you're expecting a 2k-esque splash like this and nothing less, you're probably going to be disappointed even if, on paper, the team shows marked improvement over last year's roster.

I'm really hoping we can snag Hayward, even if we have to give up something in a sign and trade.

Depends on what the package is.

If the Jazz really believe Hayward is a max guy, there's no way simply Hendo and a first gets it done, can it? They would look for someone to develop into another franchise cornerstone. That leaves Zeller and MKG and if we really knew we would be dealing Zeller amidst these negotiations we would have beaten Miami to McBob. If they want MKG Cho better put the phone down.

It's not a "misconception." It's what I want to see happen. I don't care about what "Cho's plan is." That would be mine.
