Gordon Hayward to visit Hornets next week.

Lmao

You make a claim and when called out to back it up you cant. Can you at the very least provide which games did GH play SG and which ones he played SF? Since you seem to know about how well he did in them.

If I say Kemba played poorly as x position I would need to be able to back up that claim with something.

GH can simply shoot over 99% of SG's. Doesnt even need to go around them.

At this point I am just curious. Why are you defending Gordon Hayward and being by far his most vocal advocate? I wish I shared your optimism surrounding him but I see just another henderson type who will at least shoot from outside, not that that is necessarily a bad thing. Like i said before, just not worth his price.

Another hendo? No one even wants hendo, much less for a significant amount of money. To compare GH with hendo is disrespectful.

If he can average 18-20/5/5 is most certainly is worth a good amount of money. Which is why Utah is keen to match any offer.

All teams cant simply wait around for Lebron, Melo, Durant, types to fall in their laps.

Klyao

Keep believing that. If you want to know something that "specific," look it up yourself. Google isn't broken.

And like I said, the next time someone makes a point about MKG, make sure to ask them which specific games they're talking about.

I kind of like the idea of that S&T and grtting both Hayward and Stephenson. But, only because it would be a "big splash," while also making us potentially the deepest team in the NBA outside of maybe the Spurs. What I don't like is that it's tying up more money than I would want to in players that I dont think deserve it yet and taking minutes away from PJ right off the bat, when he could very well end up being better than both of them. That would be a disaster to sign Lance and then have him end up coming off the bench behind PJ. Lol... have fun with that team chemistry. Or even vice versa...

Him visiting is pointless for the hornets. Jazz have already declined to work out a sign and trade with Cavs. They just want Hayward on the roster next season even if it means he's pissed and making max.

I have wondered if it's a favor for his agent?

Like when we made the offer for Varejao some years back for his agent knowing the Cavs would match it.

I expect it's a weak show of well we did try to improve the team from MJ and Cho to Jefferson. MJ doesn't want to spend anymore then he has too until every home game is a sellout and he's making money off the team.

MJ has proven he's willing to spend money. People should really get off his nutsack.

I believe you are truely overrating PJ Hairston. He's a talented player and a true athlete, but he was still the 26th pick and I would hate for us to deliberately pass on talented players to give him extra minutes. Plus, he could be facing an early suspension by the team with all this crap he's getting in trouble for off the court.

I wouldn't say overrating, it's been stated numerous places that he would've been a lock for a lottery pick had he not gotten in trouble. He has all the talent and ability to be a great, in whatever his role is in the NBA... but, obviously the concerns about him being able to follow through with it are why he dropped to 28th.

It still doesn't concern me because he hasn't actually done some super-foul, jacked up stuff that is completely criminal... he's done really stupid stuff and is associating with some really unsavory and stupid people, so that is a concern. But I am certain that he will be a great NBA player if he keeps his stuff together off the floor, so I'm not exaggerating when I say he could be better than both Hayward and Stephenson.

That being said, that is the balancing act... what do you do? Bank on PJ being a huge co tributor off the bat and keep from making other moves that would impede his development? Or do you go with proven talents? Locking up years of money into players that may not be better than PJ down the road, and now you get stuck with those salaries and possibly chemistry issues?
