Lance: it's down to LA and Charlotte?

I don't trust incarcerated bob, but if we can get Lance we have to get it done. I think MJ, as well as Kemba and Al, could all be good influences on him, and Hornets are in better position to compete than the Lakers

I do not want lance with pj and hendo on board. Would rather use that cap to get som SF scoring.

It makes more sense to grab a player like Lance if possible.  Obviously we want to get rid of Henderson some how.  He is NOT in our future plans.  PJ is a rookie who may need some time and could also potential play some at the 3.  I think the SG position needs upgraded way more than MKG's position.  His lack of offense is ok with what he brings defensively.  Henderson isn't as great of a defender as MKG, so replacing him as a starter nets you better value, imo.

Especially when the best players in the league are small forwards right now.  You need guys like MKG to guard Lebron/Melo/Durrant and give them headaches.

We just need to get MKG to drop 10-14ppg imo and he's valuable there.  We need a SG to be the #1/#2 option and score close to 20ppg.  I don't think Henderson ever will, but MKG could score 10-14 imo with some more years.

I know a lot of people say that Stevenson isn't a franchise player, but I sort of disagree. That Pacers run reminded me a lot of the Thunder, when Durant and Westbrook played with James Harden. A lot of people thought Harden was the underlying key to their success and could be a franchise player elsewhere when you removed the spotlight that Durant hogged.

I remember MJ wanting to trade for him, but it didn't happen. In that small way, Stevenson reminds me of Harden and I think, what you are getting is potentially a franchise player. Just look back at that game 2 against the Heat, when Lance just took over and hit almost 60% from the field. He has that ability to just go off and hit buckets in big games which is what Charlotte desperately needs.

His stats are what they are, but there is only so much ball to go around in Indy. His potential is endless in Charlotte.

The way I see it, there is no way a market like Charlotte could land a Lebron or Carmelo (I'd be shocked if they even got in a scheduled interview) but Lance is one of those guys that a small market will take a big chance on and what they might get, is a potential franchise player.

I'm sorry, but incarceratedbob? Even if he's legit, how could anyone expect themselves to be taken seriously with a name like that

yeah, he's not a reliable source(hit and miss with more misses than hits), but im sure a lot of you were like me and just wanted some news, any news, on what we were doing so i decided to share

Agreed. Not sure why people think Stephenson is the guy unless they anticipate much more offensive improvement. The guy scored less than 14 mpg last year.

Yeah I understand the stats, but he wasn't a main option in Indy.  I think we'd need to bank on potential.  We've seen this guy take over games against strong opponents.   I can't remember the last time I could say this about Henderson.  Could it not work out?  Sure.  I just think as a small market team, that wants to win now and can, he's worth a shot as to finding the missing piece.

I'm not sure he would be a main option here.

My concern is that he might not be much of an upgrade over Hendo. An upgrade, yes. But he isn't some prolific scorer and I'm not sure that he addresses the offensive limitations of this team.

It's hard to know how much of an upgrade he'd be, but if not Lance then who?  I just don't want to roll out the same team + draft picks every year, we need to take a chance and I think Lance is a great chance.  He could break into the all-star tier in the next couple of years, we weaken the Pacers by signing him and we get better.

Think about our perimeter ball pressure, and transition offense with Kemba/Lance/MKG.  I don't know about you but that definitely gets me excited.

He has actually been around for a while. He has a following in NY.

Sometimes he is right and first one to a story, often times he is full of poo.

He is sort of the National Enquirer of sports insiders. Shouldn't take him too seriously but can't just dismiss him out of hand.
