Here we go!

the thing about free agency, we're not the only team with cap space.  There are teams with way more

cap space than we have.  We used to talk about having to give max money to get a good free agent

who we would overpay just to get to come to Charlotte.  Looking at all these really good shooting guards

and small forwards, there are a lot of teams that will outbid us or just match our bid because they are in

a preferable market.

I'm starting to feel we're not gonna get the home run free agent we talk about on message boards, despite what

Michael said.  If we get rid of Henderson, we might be able to do that, but it's hard to find a player like an Al Jefferson who

would come here for what we can offer.  I've seen our cap from 15 to 23, so maybe I'm wrong, but I just have a feeling

we'll be outbid for the big stars.

    • If the dude can be a true #1 option, and I think he can be, then it's not a wasted pick or trying to be a poverty franchise. It's taking a game changer, which the Panthers need.
