What about Wharton

Amini has never put in a season as good as the old broken down version of Wharton we saw last year.

Amini shows flashes but until he actually performs.....he isn't better than the old version of Wharton

That is said every year and every year besides this past we have favored old, broken down veterans over young, promising players. Amini needs to start he needs the reps and he needs to learn. He is close.

On a side note trai is a question mark yet everybody around here acts like he won't struggle. He very well could but im obviously hoping for the best.

Easiest way to answer this is if someone sees him in person.. if he's 300+ lbs he's holding out for another season, if he's already at 275 or below it's over.. think how fast Gross slimmed down after the season ended, even before he officially announced the retirement

Wharton was only on our roster bc the young guys we went with.....couldn't stay on the field

We didn't favor them last year. Young guys couldn't stay healthy

Trai likely needed another year of college ball to be year 1 "ready". I agree everyone acts like he is a year 1 ready G.....which IMO is a reach at this point. Few are ready....to play worth a poot

Yet the coaches will start Amini over Wharton ....I wonder who is right?
