Yea I felt the same way.  I could see him joining the team the way Geoff Hangartner did last season if injuries bite the O-Line the way they did in 2013.

i wouldnt count on him coming back and even if he does, it won't be until at least half way thru training camp. he's got no incentive to do anything any time soon.

I saw Wharton at the Walmart on S Tryon last week. While still a large man, he looks like he has lost quite a bit of weight.
