i feel like the Hornets forum is WAY less regulated than the Panthers forum.. too much smack talk and "suck my D" bullpoo that im starting to move to other boards to get quality conversation..

It's because there's only about 8 core posters in the Hornets forum.

In the Panthers forum you have the occasional poster ripping Hurney for dumb decisions and/or bring up Armanti or Pickles or (enter stupid draft pick here).

Also in the Panthers forum, you have 85-90% of the posters united that they all love the Panthers and support Luke, Cam, CJ, TD, Kelvin, Star and even the Kracken.

In the Hornets forum you have a new post/thread everyday about how Kemba is a backup PG at best, MKG is pitiful, MJ should sell the team, how inept Hendo is (and that's fine, people are allowed to have their opinions) but if you challenge it in anyway, shape or form- it doesn't take long for the conversation to turn into High School drama- which discourages people like myself from getting into meaningful conversations on this board.

Whatever- my post is prolly making it seem worse than it truly is, but there is no doubt a handful of people on here sometimes make it a drag to come visit cus you know you are gunna get the trolls

Let's be clear here.

Lances floor is 10 mil per year.

He could get up to 15 tops. Who says the lakers don't just throw 2 years 30 million at him.

I'd be surprised if he signed for less than 12 per.

What would be your breaking point?  I don't know if I could justify anymore than 13 million a year, 14 ehhh, 15 no go.

I have just saw some 7-8 mil per year numbers thrown in this thread. And that is not gonna cut it.

Yeah I'm staying quiet waiting for us 8 when the season starts.... Off-season always sucks in any forum with all the guys who dont barely follow coming with off the wall comments

At least it's a bit more entertaining then the Panthers forum right now.  Especially with the team website being down for so long.  All there is to talk about on the Panther board is our Canadian players until we get closer to TC.

Say what you want about Canada.....they're loveable.

If you support the players and team the name doesn't matter.... I've cheered for them since they have been back and whatever they are called matters little to me. Is it nice to have a piece of my childhood back? yeah of course but its still taking a getting used to since I've grown to hate the New Orleans Hornets so much over the last decade.

I just enjoy the company of fans who have been through the ups and downs we have had and didn't bandwagon on in because of a few letters in a name. Not to mention many of those haven't seen more than 10 games since they have come back. Yet they have tremendous opinions (that are always correct) on every player on our roster and all the mistakes we have made as they look back and hindsight nitpick around.

Are you nitpicking about nitpicking.....that's a whole new level of nitpicking.  So I guess I'm nitpicking about nitpicking about nitpicking.

Whoa.

To be quite honest I think we can go ahead and book it lance will be a hornet. MJ loves him. He always has liked fiery competitors and I believes he understands and has a soft spot for lance. He loves the emotion. He played with rodman and he knows that fiery competitors that want to win are emotional. I believe from a basketball standpoint Jordan respects Stephenson more than Lebron.

Plus he fits every single need we have. Shooting, dribbling, play Making, spacing, defense, intensity, he's exactly what we need. If Jordan is high on him he could offer him a show deal and really make him rise to the spotlight. And tell him the sky is the limit.

I honestly believe we will offer close to the max and get lance. And I believe he will be worth it.

Coming to a stable lockeroom with Kemba who he's played ball with in NYC, Jefferson who his a bold leader and great guy and Clifford with a no non sense but fair stance will really up his game and take him to higher levels.

Let's not wait. Let's strike and get our guy. BORN READY

Yeah based on the contracts people like Meeks has been getting he's going to get a big deal. And Indiana is only like $10 million away from the tax, which Bird said they won't pay.
