We need to look for a STARTING PG.

I get it if people want to bring in another PG to help run things, but why Lowry?  Sure, he is better than Kemba right now, but he is 4 years older (and has gotten a lot better in the last 4 years I might add).  You cant play him next to Kemba without giving up a ton of size in the backcourt, so we would be spending a lot of money to replace Kemba and we still would need a 2nd ball-handler in the rotation.  Not to mention the problems Lowry has had with injuries in the past

If we could get a Dragic type player, who can run the offense well and has the size to play the 2 for stretches next to Kemba, I would be all over that.  I dont see that guy available at the moment though

Haha, as soon as someone throws out ACTUAL FACTS - you say they don't mean poo AND to try to prove them wrong you ask me to go get MORE STATS that will prove your point?? GTFO here

but i will oblige you:

Kemba  - .401 FG%.. .322 3pt%

Bledsoe - .445 FG%.. .327 3pt%

Lowry    - .418 FG%.. .350 3pt%

please stop trying to make it out like Kemba isn't a starting PG in the league.. just stop..

To add on to this stat: Kemba is the primary perimeter option on his team, while Lowry definitely isn't (DeRozan) and Bledsoe does it by committee when he isn't injured (Dragic, Green)

Kemba is a bad team point guard. Takes too many shots. Isn't a strong distributor. Needs too much of the basketball to make his points. How many NBA teams have won anything with a PG like Kemba starting?

If your PG is taking more shots than anybody else on your team you either have a bad team or a bad PG. Just about any NBA quality starter taking the number of shots that Kemba took would have been good for 20 a night. His shooting percentage was well below average, but by all means we should look at his PPG numbers to determine his value to us.
