Most Underrated Game of All-Time

I have three, that I believe should be in the discussion.

Alice: Madness Returns, hugely underrated. The story itself was superb. The gameplay is your basic platformer, but the selling point of this game was truly the story. If you haven't yet played this, I would recommend.

Splinter Cell: Conviction. Tom Clancy games are hit or miss. (Rainbow six series), but this one was one of the best. I absolutely loved the bro-op feature. I can't count the hours I spent playing the story and online with my bros when this came out. Easy game to get into and the story was pretty cool as well.

Finally, Heavenly Sword. Most of you will probably say it's a 'God of War' clone, which to me it wasn't. Or the moniker that it's known for  'Goddess of War'. Personally it's one of the best PS3 games that came out and to date. About the only complaint I have is that it was really short. It was also a one shot deal. On the fence on that because the characters were very intriguing and the story was phenomenal in my perspective. I'm not sure if there was supposed to be a sequel to this with Kai or if there was already. But this is easily one of the most underrated games.

The original Star Wars Galaxies. Before the CU and NGE. Best / most detailed MMO I've ever played.

Was going to post this, thinking no one would mention it. Glad I checked. It gets my vote as one of the most underrated game. They also screwed it up so bad after CU/NGE that it tarnished the amazing game it was before those changes.

To this day in my opinion the best, most detailed, amazingly complex, fun crafting systems that I have seen. And that that was over a decade ago.

I remember the first time I saw a Jedi I had just landed in Theed and he was fighting at least 20 people in the middle of the city and after about 5 minutes he just stopped and force ran off into the distance. I loved how Jedi were like unicorns and the fact that if the were to be killed they would have to start their force grind over. God how I miss that damn game.

I know what you mean, I was 3rd to unlock on Naritus server. Christmas day 2003 after 6 professions (got lucky with the hidden one being dancer) I loved the TEF system they had pre 9 patch. Along with perma death. Made Jedi fit in with the Star Wars canon.

The day I saw Jedi as a starting character with nge was my last straw that and my entire house full of nightsister lances (legendary and exceptional) with poison/disease /fire for almost all HAM stats go away made me close my 3 accounts.

I miss it too, me and friends who u still have from that game talk all the time. And just recently I found a old Hard drive with 2k+ of screenshots. So much nostalgia. If you ever want to play again and have your original discs swgemu has been remaking the game before CU. It's fun to go back and know you can see all 32 professions.. Damn now I need to play again haha.

Excuse the derailment of original topic, SWG is one of those games that was some of the most fun I have ever had via PC games/mmorpg. And mere mention of it brings back so many memories.

Was that the one where it was 5v5, and you could run up the side of a wall to make a leaping catch?

It was like the football version of NBA jam tournament edition. "Hes on fire!!!"

Yes it was. I also loved nhl hitz. 3 on 3 hockey. you could get in fights and instead of grabbing onto each others jerseys and hitting them like in other nhl games it was like a typical fighter, minus special moves and combos. If you manages to win, the person you win against would be ejected for the rest of the game. you wouldn't be penalyazed at all.  Good way to make it easier on beating a team, just fight and win against their best player.  One individual, the goalie, or the whole team could get on fire.
