No chance in hell he's ever not a captain as long as he's a Panther.  He's probably the most respected man in that locker room by a good margin now that Smitty and Gross are gone.

 

He's becoming somewhat of a Panther legend in the same vein as Sam Mills and Steve Smith.

I came to conclusion the other day Davis' jersey is gonna be the first jersey I own. Truly a inspiration, and the fact they say said he's even faster without the brace should put the fear of God in our enemies.

I'm sure it happens all the time but I don't recall seeing articles about players saying this sort of thing for other teams.  Now we have both Gross and TD saying essentially that they wouldn't play anywhere else.  I think this type of mutual loyalty will go away as our old core gets replaced by Gettlemans players.

 

I'm not saying that's a bad thing but it definitely marks a change.

 

I wonder if we will ever hear DeAngelo or JStew saying this?  I can totally see Kalil having this sentiment even if he hasn't said so in public.
