Alternate route to Charlotte when 77-south is jammed...

I just moved about 30 mins north of Charlotte in Mooresville, when 77 gets jammed up what is the best way to get to the city?

yeah or you could shoot across 150 and hit 16, but that's twice as long and probably just as bad

If your heading south and not past exit-36, take 18 down if you're headed south of das city.

I probably will eventually, I just wanted cheaper rent and have a short commute to work. 

 

The reverse commute would be quite nice.

IF i-77 is jammed then 115 may be as well. You can try the backway down to 73 and cut over to 85. If you are in backside (east) of Mooresville than may not be much longer.

Every morning and evening I pass over 77 via 277 and thank god I don't live in Mooresville. Seems like it's just a nightmare all the time.

move to Mt. Holly or Ft.Mill. South 77 is a breeze even after 5pm. 77N from Arrowood to well, forever is just bad. Depending on time of day course.

 

Buy my place on Montford so I can get a foreclosure on Lake Wylie. Everybody wins.
