Vonleh Is A Wasted Pick!

You guys are killing me in reference to Biz. He will makes all doubters wrong. Biz got the goods but you have to appreciate what he can do and stop being a hater. It's called progression. It took Jermaine O'Neal three years to resemble the player at Indiana. No front court player on the Hornets' roster can do the things Biz does in the defensive end, plus rebounding.

No one is talking trash about Biz. Did we carry 3 centers last year? Yes!! Could we have used 3 centers last year while Biz is progressing along? yes!!

I love watching Bizmack play but also realize that Zeller or Vonleh will need to play center and be able to step in if Al gets hurt or if Al ots out after next season for a larger contract we can't afford.

Seriously! Some guys on here make me so mad. Just throwing dumb ass comparison out there hoping it stick on the wall.

Vonleh is already a better defender than Zeller. Could be a better defender than Biz very soon, and imo a better offensive player than Zeller. Zeller is the typical stretch 4. He got a lot of his points in transition at Indiana. Vonleh scored in a variety of ways last year.

Quit the damn Bismack and Ibaka comparison!

Seriously! Some guys on here make me so mad. Just posting dumb ass YouTube videos that beg to ask the question: "Why the hell was this video posted?" It qualifies as post whoring when you post a completely and utterly meaningless/worthless/useless YouTube video like this.

Forgive my reproach but I just wanted to illustrate my viewpoint. I have been reading your posts for a while now and this thread creation just really perturbed me enough to post.

Zeller would be a more wasted pick than Vonleh.

That remains to be seen.

Zeller has the skills and should flashes. Only played 1 season.

Can play both C and PF.

Even if he doesnt start, he can be a valuable guy off the bench to spell Al and Vonleh.

But he is out right busts than yea he would be a wasted pick.

The thing is all that can be said for Vonleh as well, but we drafted Zeller first so ppl are gonna say that more so about Vonleh than Zeller.

I don't think either will be a wasted pick. I just think Vonleh will be better but neither will be a flat bust.

    • According to the talking heads of the sports world, this is a pretty meh QB class.  Sanders and Ward are the only two with first round buzz, but the rest are blah.  Take that for what you will. Let's see how Bryce does in year three.  That's just where we are.  Patience is the key here.  Players need time to develop.  They can't develop if they don't play.  Bryce has made some really good throws, but he doesn't look like CJ Stroud.  That's going to be his point of comparison the rest of their careers.  The ball doesn't explode off Bryce's hand, it's not a cannon ball shot out of a cannon.  He's not going to break a 70 yard run.   Bryce is going to have to continue to make good throws and make plays.  Part of that is going to depend on the play calls.  Part of it is based on the skill players.  A couple drops picked up yesterday and it's a win and Bryce throws 1-2 more TDs.  A completely different story. It's been a crazy year indeed.  I just want to see Bryce continue to develop.  To see XL become more consistent.  To see JT fully recover (not play this season if he's not healthy).  I want to see Coker continue to make plays.  I'd love to see Brooks get more touches and Chubba continue to hammer defenses. Then this approaching offseason, let's go back to the D and work on fixing it.
    • Prime is already gone boss.  Nothing left for team Sanders in college football.
    • Justin Fields’ fifth-year option was declined by the Steelers in April. Without a new contract, he will be a free agent in March. I am pulling for Bryce Young to look good the rest of the season, but if he doesn't, how many of you would be on board for the Panthers to try signing Justin Fields?
