Vonleh Is A Wasted Pick!

Nit pick much???Kids 19 yrs old. Chill out guy.

I am not gonna leave out cons simply because of his age. That would be homerish.

Being young doesnt guarantee "X" improvement or skills gained in the future.

All it means is they have some years to improve.

And with Vonleh's coordination and feel for the game I think he most certainly can and will improve his low post game / scoring.

Wiggins, Parker, Embiid, Exum, Gordon, Smart, Randle, Stauskas, etc. all have cons!!!!!!!

Be happy we got a top6 player at no.9. Damn.

Ovcourse, I am very happy.

To be clear though you can not compare Parker's cons to Vonleh. Parker is pretty much a completely polished player. Offensively anyway. His con is primarily defense which he might never improve due to physical limitations and pure instincts.

You draft Parker and know right away you are getting a stud. Vonleh is more of a upside / potential pick that will take some time to develop into a stud.

I feel way better about Vonleh than Bismack. I thought Bismack was a wasted pick from the moment we drafted him.

Same here, I feel better about the Vonleh than I did about the Zeller pick as well.

Vonleh is 1000x more coordinated and polished than Biz was coming out the draft.

Only thing Biz has on Vonleh is defense / shotblocking.

Seriously, comparing Biz to Vonleh is like comparing a dumptruck to Brooklyn Decker because they're both mobile,  I genuinely wonder if some of you have ever watched a basketball game.

Vonleh is perhaps one of the best prospects we have taken in the past decade.. Wouldn't even mention him in the same sentence as Biyombo or Zeller.

Seriously! Some guys on here make me so mad. Just throwing dumb ass comparison out there hoping it stick on the wall.

Vonleh is already a better defender than Zeller. Could be a better defender than Biz very soon, and imo a better offensive player than Zeller. Zeller is the typical stretch 4. He got a lot of his points in transition at Indiana. Vonleh scored in a variety of ways last year.

Quit the damn Bismack and Ibaka comparison!

Wasted pick? Who is the guy in this video, to make that assumption? It seems to me that him and his friends wanted anybody but McDermott. Considering this team was desperate for some offense, I'm curious to know what his idea of a smart pick would be.

As far as being a wasted pick, the only argument I can make is Cody Zeller. With this guy, what is Cody's role? I agree with taking the best player available, but sometimes you can't just keep filling roles that you are already got covered.

I do believe Vonleh will end up being a great player.

I think he's someone on here.
