Hornets Summer League Roster Updates

Like them both. Bell reminds me a lot of Hendo, just a natural, effortless athlete. Big man has a chance, looks way more fluid than Biz ever did.

Bell looks like he makes Jeff Taylor trade-expendable. Bell is clearly a backup, but his frame + game reminds me a little bit of Lance Stephenson. Physical and fluid guy who should also be a very good defender. People have already been talking about Hairston coming off the bench, so for the time being that means Henderson is still your starting shooting guard, and he still needs to be traded if possible. So I'd say, pick up Bell, especially if he does well in Summer League. You'd have PJ & Bell on the roster. Taylor and Henderson could both be traded for your starting SG if you don't pick up one in Free Agency.

Probably because he's 24 and has no mid range game at all. I read he only shot one mid range shot a all season.

Still nice pick up and should have no problem to get the #3 center spot.

Didnt miss a shot in his work out video.

He still has 6-12 years in the league.

You draft him for his defense and rebounding. Anything else would just be icing on the cake.

This dude is a terror blocking shots in the paint.

He's a UDFA so if we get anything out of him or Bell then it's a major win. I have a good feeling we will keep him as our #3 center and he can develop and eventually be Bismack's replacement and will have a lot smaller contract since he was a UDFA.
