Update as of 6/30

I was just trying to figure out when we could sign UDFA. I hope we can land a decent pg since we didn't keep any that we drafted.

With Carson,Kane,Burton,Kirkpatrick, and Craft available I don't see any reason why we won't at least sign one of those guys for our back up or 3rd string pg.

CJ Fair, Jabari Brown, and Laquinton Ross could be good prospects to land but I don't see us getting any of them. Andre Dawkins would be nice to have on the summer league. He can shoot threes which is what we need.

I would love to sign Burton. I think he could make the roster as a third pg.

@TheBTrain10: Hearing former Ohio State point guard Aaron Craft is deciding between Spurs, Pacers, Cavs, Hornets, and Raptors Summer League teams.

Sign CRAFT!!!!! He's a little crafty white boy. Wanna see him carve up defenses.

We should pick up Aaron Craft

Aaron Craft will play for the Philadelphia 76ers and Golden State Warriors' summer league teams, per his agent.

    • Fans are fed up with this organization's endless string of failures. And, while Morgan's less than a year into his current position, everything he's done is barreling down the same path shat out by his predecessor. If we're just pointing out this alarming lack of discrepancy between the performances of two GMs, it's really not hating. He's just proving to not be a good hire. And, hey, it's alright, because whoever Tepper hires next will, at best, only suck a little bit less. I don't mind people who are optimistic and hope Morgan turns out to be better than he's been thus far. That'd be great. None of us are rooting for him to fail. However, the embarrassing pattern of decisions persists. And it's not a good look.
    • You have to view everything that was done in 2024 through the ‘eliminate excuses for Bryce Young’ lens IMO. It only makes sense that way.     If you allow for that, you will see that Diontae fulfilled his purpose.
    • The Panthers' beat writer called the Johnson trade return "a warm bottle of RC Cola." If you're quick to discount every bit of news that disagrees with your view, maybe your view is the problem. Morgan deals himself a bad hand and he deserves every bit of criticism for it. Fitterer was the worst GM ever, but Morgan is a very similar brand of awful. Certainly when it comes to trades since 2021, Morgan's body of work makes him at best, only one of the worst negotiators in the history of North American professional sports. That's simply pointing out the numerous shortcomings he's put on display. If I point at a guy who shot someone and say "he murdered a guy," I'm not hating on him -- I'm pointing out what he did. If Morgan wants to not be labeled an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better, simply stop being an incompetent clown who makes 31 other franchises better. Or, wait until Tepper makes him the fall guy after Evero.
