Best football decision of all time:

Jonathan Stewart drafted and 13th and Jeff Otah drafted at 19th.

The MVP for our season goes to Marty Hurney/Don Gregory/John Fox

More than likely we will have given up a first round pick 25th or lower for a 19th pick this season.

Awesome gutsy decision. My hats off to them. I wouldn't have been able to do it.

signing jake was a pretty good move too...

Yeah, but all of those decision had low risk - high reward potentials.

This one was the only one that was high risk potential. If we had a season that was 8-8 this year, this could have become the worst decision ever. Not signing Jake would not have been as apparent.

    • Hes done a few GM and HC research posting and it was levels above any other source. His Fittererere love doesn't apply here...
    • This is my point, especially at #8--Wlaker versus Beason and Keuchley (tackles not recorded for Morgan):
    • The problem with your specific scenario is that if Sanders is still available and the Giants are really putting the pick up for trade, you're going to open up a bidding war for Sanders and that's going to raise the price way too much.  A much better question is if the same scenario unfolds but the Giants take Sanders, do you try to trade up with the Patriots at 4? The Patriots biggest need is offensive line and 4 is a bit rich for this OL class, while 8 would be the sweet spot and would still put them in front of most all OL needy teams. What would it cost to move from 8 to 4? If the price is right, then I think you consider it then. But probably not for anything more than 8, 57 and maybe a day 3 pick.
