After reading some of the other responses, I may back off of the "horrible pick" talk...  We do need three bigs for a quality rotation, and as long as McRoberts is gone, then the pick makes sense...  I just want Cody to be given the chance to succeed as a starter with quality minutes.

Last draft was horrible talent wise and Zeller at most might be a 9-10ppg guy, Vonleh has more upside and already has a better skill set for the make up of the Hornets.

I think you're severely underrating Cody.  He played what?  An average of 12 minutes a game last year?  If he gets the time, he is more like a 15/10 guy.  Possibly more...

 

But, I like the idea of having Vonleh to use between the 4 and 5.  And it gives us two super athletic bigs.
