Fan freakin' tastic audio quality.

But I am disappointed that Sammi Jo prefers a gourd pudding in a crust over a real pie.

Thanks, glad you noticed. Still a little tweaking to do but it is night and day compared to the old equipment.

 

 

And I too was disappointed in Sammi Jo's pie selection, however, I will gladly partake in its consumption in October when she brings in a fresh one.

I realize the upgrade in the equipment made the most difference, but did you do any post-processing on the audio? It was pretty flawless.  The only thing I noticed was that the audio suddenly got louder at times.

 

You could say that the audio quality before was like a snickers pie.  Now it's like a pecan pie sitting on kate upton's chest.

Nope, straight to the podcast host. Everything is done in the mixer with the right levels set. Easier that way. The mixer connects to the pc via USB so all I have to do is upload to our podcast host.

Good Stuff.....I know it's early on but Kroeger doing primetime radio in Charlotte is the best move WFNZ has made in a looooong time. No I am not his relative, nor do I know the guy at all but so far he seems like a natural and his move into that role has been seamless.

 

I agree.

 

 

Some of the other radio hosts I have met have been a bit... odd.

 

 

But Chris is a good dude. I feel like anyone could sit down and have a beer with him and get good conversation, which is important for a radio host I think.

Yes the sound quality was great. Just felt like sometimes you (Jeremy) were quiet compared to the other two. Maybe just the distance from the mic? But quality was great!

Yeah, I am moving around a bit to the computer and such. Eventually hopefully we will have someone in doing the techy stuff so I can just talk.
