Early NFL Predictions by USA Today for all 32 teams

Gross is probably the hardest to replace.  I believe the player that wins his position is not going to be better than Gross.  We have been spoiled for 11+ seasons with Gross at LT.  Hopefully Chandler has learned enough and his athletic ability takes over and he handles the position well.  That is the best we can hope for.

Other than Gross I think we have improved in every area.  Especially defense.  I like the talent we brought in.  White and Lester have a year under their belt and will see plenty of playing time.   I think our defense will be as good, if not better, than last year.  Our offense will be more potent than last year even with mediocre play from LT.

Combined with a great defense and more points offensively I truly cannot see us losing more than we win.   I don't usually predict but I will say above .500 is highly more likely than being under.

So, how many penalties does Harper rack up playing the Saints? Over/Under at 8

3 defensive holding, 2 PI, and 2 illegal contacts as he gets beat like a drum in coverage.

Let's be real if we had offense to go along with our D last year we would have lost only 1 or 2 games. So with that saying if the D plays like last year and the offense can put up more points I only see us loseing probably 2 to 3 games. And the only reason why I say we lose that many games so we won't stay content with our play after win streaks
