Early NFL Predictions by USA Today for all 32 teams

No way there is an 8 game spread from top to bottom in the division.  Atlanta will be in the basement around 6-10, the winner of the thing will be no better than 11-5.  You know the league wants the Saints to win the thing to get at least one playoff game in NO.

Panthers are one of those 3-13 or 13-3 teams. Could be either, plus the nfc south is a fing bear. Ron maybe the #4 head coach in this division, that's coming off winning coy too. Nfc south is filled with all sort of talnets.

Bucs going 3-13 and Falcants going 10-6??? Hahahahahahahahahaha. The reverse would make more sense.

No way we have a losing record. Same team with more experienced quarterback, better receivers, but no Jordan Gross. I guess Gross was the one who picked up 60 sacks for our defense too.

Maybe they're taking into account the trash talk that Gross did on the sidelines. If only there was a way to keep him on the sidelines yet still retired

It's just a case of the writer trying to sell the notion that every FA and draft selection the Falcons signed will contribute to their team..

while every FA and draft selection the Panthers and Bucs signed -  will be busts.             Wouldn't mind it if some of those guys gave that same benefit of the doubt to all teams,  and not just certain teams that they have as personal favorites.

I guess the team returning it's entire front 7, and having the 2nd ranked defense means nothing to the morons who make these meaningless predictions. And how many "key" bodies did we lose... Smith, Gross. Our receiving corp was not that great in 2013 and actually looks better this year.

Frankly, the only KEY body we lost was Gross, and he was not even quite elite at this point. All our WR losses were mediocre at best, and our WR we signed and drafted and have had on our roster are an improvement over the old ones. Run game clearly upgraded and TE upgraded. All the secondary losses were products of our front 7 and are easily replaced, though we will miss Mitchell's aggressiveness a little bit. Overall we got better everywhere (some stayed the same) except OT which is unknown so I don't see how anyone could possibly think we won't have a winning season.

Are you stupid? Rivera is a WAYY better coach than Lovie and Mike Smith. Possibly even better than Payton, but can't compare as much because Payton's an offensive mind with an elite QB in Drew Brees and Rivera is a defensive mind.

Fwiw, I understand why they are saying this.  The difference between the top and bottom isn't that much.  The biggest difference in us last year and the year before was our ability to finish.  At this point though, our secondary and our entire offense is an unknown. If Benjamin comes on strong, and Aminu and Stewart both stay healthy, we could be better on offense.  If not, those clutch drives at key points in the game that won a few for us last year might not happen.
