LeBron James Opts Out

Recommended Posts

He averaged 13 ppg coming off an injury, and some have argued he came back too soon. It can happen. But if Kobe is motivated and his injuries haven't affected his ability on court, then he's the type of guy that can still be a winner.

Now I do agree that LeBron won't be his sidekick, and vice versa. But a Kobe-LeBron pairing could be quite effective since both are two great players. It will be difficult if Kobe comes back and averages 13ppg because his injuries have crippled him so to speak. But if he's healthy and can repeat the form he was in 2012-13, then he's an upgrade on D-Wade and Bosh.

Kobe will never be the same. The likelyhood of him coming back and his play being back to a 25+ppg player is next to none, LeBron is a business man with his decisions and will not take that type of risk. Not to mention he wants to pass Kobe in rings, not give Kobe another and keep the same distance
