KT?

Where are you?

Just kidding man.

But Vince really did poo the bed this week. Glad to see him doing well, but some of that can be attributed to the schedule that he faced. Most likely only 3 playoff teams out of the last 10 he was to go against, and he went 1-3 in those matchups, with the win against AZ coming with no Warner.

Before we foolishly elect him to the Pro Bowl again, lets just take a wait and see approach, and maybe he can light it up next season.

Yeah Vince had his 1st bad game of the season on Friday night. He had played well since he became a starter even in their loss to Indy a few weeks ago. Gotta tip your hat to the Chargers and Rivers. They've been playing maybe the best football the past 2 months and they're my pick to knock out the Colts in January. That being said, for Vince to even have Tenn in the playoff picture this late in the year after starting 0-6 is remarkable. He's my candidate for COMEBACK PLAYER OF THE YEAR. He's posted a 7-2 record this season, with those losses coming against arguably the 2 best teams in the league in Indy & San Diego. There's alot of QBs in this league who havent led their teams to that many wins or that high of a winning percentage so I still think Vince is a special QB. I dont think he's elite YET, and never said so, but I think he's proven he's better than Kerry Collins and alot better than people were originally willing to give him credit for just 8 weeks ago.

I agree, hard to beat SD right now.

But, I was just talking about his inability to throw at all on them...that was kind of shocking. Vince is playing better football than Collins, but I wouldn't say that he has proven himself to be better than Kerry overall...just now, in the twilight of his career.

Hopefully he can keep it rolling next year.

After a demoralizing loss last week to the Chargers, VY bounces back with the win in Seattle to end the season 8-2 as a starter. Thru his 39 career starts, he's 26-13. If only Jeff Fisher had listened to reason and pulled the trigger sooner, we might've been talking Chris Johnson for MVP and the Titans being a dangerous playoff team. Instead there's only the 2010 season to look forward to. I will say though the future is bright in Nashville, with #10 in the stable. The road to Canton continues...

I will always have to think that maybe Fisher was not playing Young to make sure that he was mentally ready to handle failure again.

What happens if he goes out there again and gets booed and all but run out of the clubhouse.

Fisher may have been waiting to make sure that he could handle the pressure, because he sure as hell didn't the first time around.

Quite a story.

Knowing he has that background helps explain some of the incidents he's had.

It also makes you hope that he can overcome all of that and make the kind of life for his kid that he never had.

I'd still stop short of saying Young is a "hall of famer" at this point. Objectively speaking, his passing still needs work and he's getting a lot of benefit from having Chris Johnson in the backfield with him.

But if he can continue progressing and avoid the kinds of troubles he's run into before - something which might be easier now that he has a child to think about - he can definitely have a solid career.

And frankly, I hope he does. I've seen enough stories of the Rae Carruth's, Christian Peter's and Ben Roethlisberger's of the league. Be a lot nicer to see a happy ending.
