Do you have a second team to root for?

Tennessee Titans are a distant second. and I mean very distant. I only like them because I like the state of Tennessee.

I personally do not have a second team - that just seems odd - but when out watching games on Sunday with friends, I do support the teams that they have supported all of their lives - Colts and Steelers. Since both are in the AFC it makes that a lot easier. Likewise, they support the Panthers. We all live in Atlanta, and enjoy and proudly display our collective hatred for the Falcons.

Growing up back in my day, we didn't have the Panthers. I rooted for the Redskins(my dads team), Vikings (my big brothers team) and the Chargers(my older cousin who I used to idolize's team). I even met Mark Rypien and Stan Humphries after the game in 1990 when the Skins played the Falcons at Kenan. I still like them a little bit and I even watch some of their games but I don't openly root for them.

I get excited about and enjoy every NFL game I can watch but I'm only a fan of the Panthers.

Yes. My second and third team I root for are the Falcons and Saints.

Naw, no second team.  If the Panthers didn't exist, though, I'd probably root for the Steelers. Both my mom and grand-dad are huge Steeler fans, and they are 2 ppl I have great admiration for.  But, it's strictly Panthers for me. No 2nd team.

If the Panthers didn't exist I would probably root for the Titans. We are basically cousins to them anyway. Maybe even the Jags.

Panthers only here. Every other team sucks compared to Carolina, I watch any two teams play enjoyably however as long as the Panthers aren't on when I watch them play it's a diff kind of enjoyable but more stressful lol

I try to support the Titans, but they are always so stinking boring. I also tend to root for Peyton.

So, even though I grew up in Michigan. And have rooted for the Lions for 30 years or so, before the Panthers even existed. I am no longer allowed to root for the Lions? Good to know.

I have been a fan of the Panthers since, what, Sept. 93 when Jerry held his "We gat a team" party at the Carolina Country Club. Being a part of a Franchise from the get go has been too cool. They are 1A in my book. Lions are 1B. As long as their paths don't cross too often I am good.

Just because some of you kids only know the Panthers. Don't get all huffy because some of us still root for the team we grew up with.

I've rooted for the Chargers since the late 70's. Loved the Fouts era. I have warmed o n them since the Panthers came along but I would not be upset to see a Charger VS. Panther Super Bowl. With the Panthers winning of course.

I did this one year. Some asshole took Beason as an IDP. He was the only one I didn't have. Of course Clausen was the QB so I finished last. Still it was fun.
