Eh for the most part Portugal isn't even sitting back, they're still rolling with three forwards.

And if you're implying that the counter attack is what CR7 does best, the counter attack isn't subject to score or formation. We could be up 1-0, and rolling with a 4-4-2 and Portugal is still going to have opportunities on the counter attack.
