it looks good but it is fake, the panther on the sleeve gives it away, but as long as the blue is the right shade i'd rock it proudly (esp for 4 bucks)

but to who said the stiched ones dont have a sewn on logos is wrong, the middle versions (not screen printed but not the elites) DO have a patch panther but they are not the same way as the bootlegs

the ones without the double stich, just the single stich numbers have a patch for the panther, but its a solid patch

 

You are right. But like you also said, when people refer to knock offs they are always in the Elite style. I've never seen a fake claim it was the Limited jersey (which IMO is the best bang for your buck). Also, the stitched on logos of the knock offs are all made of thread, while the patch on the Limited is more of a hard rubbery plastic material.

I actually purchased it after he retired. I needed a new one because Smitty left so I figured buying the jersey of a retired Panther couldn't harm the present team. Now Gross might flame out of radio because of this purchase, but at least it won't effect play on the field.
