The super ninja cho draft selection

Basically cho has never truly let the cat outta the bag about who we will select.

Last year I was very very very surprised that we took zeller that soon. It wasn't until draft say that I saw rumors about how much cho liked zeller. But didn't think much of it.

Even in years past I was surprised by cho with biyombo and MKG.

This may have been posted before but I gotta feeling that we will take someone who's not even on most of our radars. If u had to pick one of those sleeper picks who would u pick.

I'm going with James young.

TJ Warren

Doesn't solve shooting woes, but we can get that at #24 possibly.  But he does give us a guy that can flat out score with efficiency.

He had a good workout when he was here and Coach Clifford specifically commented on how well he could play defense as well as his offense saying he thought he was a guy who could defend multiple positions including 2 & 3.  Plus I personally think he can defend some 4s if a team went small.  Like a Boris Diaw type 4.

Rumors before the draft last year were mostly Zeller. All I'm hearing this year is McD.

I'm putting all my chips on the table that it's McD.

That rumor didn't come out until the morning of the draft. So i'm hoping all this McDermott crap is Smoke.

I still think we're trading down getting a vet and draft PJ or Stakaus.

I said it before, but it wouldn't surprise me if Hairston is the pick.

Could be he lasts until 24, but I doubt it.  And like I've said, if you draft him at 9 and he turns out to be an all-star, you look like a genius...  if you don't draft him and someone does after you (like has usually happened for us) and he becomes an all-star, you look like a stupid franchise that can't ever make the right move.

If you believe the guy is your guy, it doesn't matter what mock drafts say...  you take him.

I want Hairston.

I don't see the need for a 4, because it will cut into Cody's development, and I believe he will be a really good-great player.  WE NEED OUTSIDE SCORING.  That is it.

    • he has barely suited up for 50% of our games.  It matters pending how much of our cap and resources go that way.  If he cost in the ballpark of a Surtain? No thank you.  Let someone else  And as far we know what happens when we let talent walk away or trade them…..that’s a mixed bag.   should we of paid Norman, Bradberry at CB? They probably had earned the right to be called better than Horn at that moment of the decision.  Do we regret that? Do we regret Star walking? Can take it back to Spoon.  Flip side is probably Peppers.
    • We need to get better in the redzone. And yes that is an issue that involves all the moving parts. Oline receivers QB and playcalling. But Bryce himself has to lead the charge on that or surely we could face another blowout in one of these upcoming games. Every team no matter how good they are is going to face an opponent that imposes their will on them and requires the same in response. Those are the games where we have got to capitalize on drives. Honestly I get the sense that the Chiefs on some level overlooked us.  So while I am pleased we were as competitive as we were it certainly remains to be seen if this was the beginning for something new or just an anomaly. I think that's a perfectly fair take at this juncture.
    • He is a diva, even with Baltimore winning, he will cry and pout and ask to be traded. He cares about his numbers and stats for his next contract. Ironically, his best chance to showcase his ability was with us, now he is just an afterthought.
