I am getting a FREE new car, Huddle, help me decide

One of my companies "perks" is that we get a car package. Well I was told that I will be getting a new 2014/15 car in a few weeks. The company will pay for the car, pay for all gas, insurance, maintenance, etc. it will be completely free for me to use.

The only kicker is that there are 2 approved cars that I can get. I need your help deciding which car that will be. (The option of getting they car, then selling it, is not an option, I only can have one of the two choices below....). Also I have to assume I will either get the base model or a lower end model with only a few upgrades.

Option 1: 2014 Ford Flex

My pros

-bigger SUV, seats 7, lots of space, better features and technology.

Cons

-it's ugly

Option 2: 2014 Ford Taurus

Pros:

Slightly better looking, more respectable

Cons:

Not as much technology, not as spacious

The edge is ugly but I drove one from Denver to Louisiana. It was a rental car but I did like everything it offered. Plus they're paying for the gas. Go big or go home

Do you mean the Flex???

I want to run people off the road that thought that buying a flex was a good option

I road in the new taurus....meh as well. I used to own one 15 years ago and loved it.

I would pry take a fusion or a focus over either

Also, I have kids and I like to haul...I'm not trying to impress anyone with a car these days.

Lol, my wife thinks I should get he taurus because she thinks the flex is ugly and she doesn't know why I would need the extra space

Gotta be honest. That Flex is fugly, however, its like a hearse inside.  You can fit so much poo in there.

Its really a decision based on what you need it for.  Do you already have a large vehicle capable of hauling mass amount of poo about? Then Taurus.

Do you feel the need to haul mass amount of poo? Then Flex.

The wife has an SUV already that is capable of hauling. The problem is anytime I want to goto Home Depot, I got to move baby seats, etc..

Plus, for vacations, I can take the company car and be able to haul kids, family etc.. While getting free gas and putting miles on a company car vs. our personal vehicle.

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
