Hand Gun Question

Turn it in if it's for real. You found it and have alibi's so nothing to worry about. In all seriousness sometimes the missing link on a prosecutable offense is the murder weapon. Small chance but i wouldn't want to be the reason someone slipped through the cracks

What? Why? .45 has always been the military's most common round. Even law enforcement uses .40 and .45

In the 80s there was a push for cheaper ammo and they started using 9mm. Marine Corps had enough of that puny round. Borrowed a couple millIon from the Mom(Navy) strolled down to Colt and said, "Give us as many 100 year old handguns you got. Thank you."

Personally I'm glad I've seen too many guys get after being hit with an M9. A 1911 puts them down for good, it's tough, and looks cool. No plastic or composites because those are for dildos and airplanes.

What kind of moron finds a gun in their yard and takes it for a test spin?

Not to mention just shooting it in front of their own house.

If you're not a "gun person" where did you get the ammo to shoot it? Don't tell me you bought a box of ammo to fire one round off.

Or was the gun loaded when you found it? Because if it was and you wasted a potential piece of evidence then that's just plan ridiculous
