If you get the suit dry cleaned leave it in the plastic that comes with the returned shirts/suits. Then pack it with minimal folds. It's a nice little secret.

I travel two or three times each month. Pack my jacket, shirts, pants in a suit bag and fold it on the top of everthong else in my carry on. Iron the shirt and pants at the hotel. Hang the jacket in the bathroom, close the door, and turn the shower on hot for five minutes. Steams your jacket - no more wrinkles.

Funny story...

So I was at an annual sales meeting in a resort. I never unpacked the night I arrived (instead went out drinking). The next morning I opened my suitcase to find everything wrinkled. I hang ALL of my clothes on the shower curtain rode , crank on the hot water, and close the bathroom door....5 mins later I come back to the bathroom to find that the door was locked! It was impossible to pick the lock, so I called the front desk and had to wait for engineering to take apart the lock, which took about :30 mins. By the time they opened the door, everything was soaking wet. All of my clothes were literally dripping wet! Needless to say it made for a rough, late start to a long day of meetings...true story
