First person to actually name players instead of just positions or saying bell sucks. I agree megaton would probably be the guy

Haha!

If you were to go WR instead of OL would you not want to get more of a quick twitch guy that can get separation on the shorter routes to help get the ball out faster?  I know there aren't any that are on Megatron's level but would you consider taking someone on a slightly lower level that might help mask your weakness a little more?

Well the thing is, if cam didn't have time to throw the ball when he is supposed to, he could just toss it up to megatron anyways and he would still catch it. It would be like the old JD to SS combo of times past

I was wondering if anyone would go defense!  Do you think that bolstering our secondary would make us immediate Superbowl favorites?  I don't think there's any question that they'd be the top defense in the league (it probably wouldn't even be close) but do you think the offense is strong enough to hold up their end?  Defense does win championships... even in this passing league...

SB favorites seems a bit out there but putting a centerfielder like thomas and/or a shutdown guy like sherman would help against vjax, graham, colston, roddy, julio in securing the division.

megatron would give us a target who could be force fed the ball. runs any route. wins jump balls against anyone. i think he makes the offense better than joe thomas does. or a slot/twitch guy like someone else mentioned.

The whole question is based in the notion that the team is "a player or two away", something Dave Gettleman pointed out as a fallacy.

it depends on if that player allows your QB to get hurt or not. if your QB gets hurt it can absolutely effect your season. if your QB keeps getting hammered or keeps having to scramble because he's always got some guy chasing him down thanks to the OT that keeps getting burned or they have to consistently take a receiver off the field because we need an extra blocker, that can effect what you do and your record.
