Must be a slow news time for Person. Jordan gross made his rounds of interviews on the local radio stations the couple of days after his retirement and said that he was going to be doing sideline reporting for the Panthers next season.

Maybe Gross said that but the Panthers just made it official.  AFAIK, Gross did not have the details of what he would be doing for the radio team exactly until just recently.

I'm glad he's still around the team in some way.  Gross is a pretty big personality to just up and leave all of a sudden... one that's been here for a really damn long time.  Him just completely vanishing would probably leave some kind of void in the locker room, good leadership in place or not.

 

Glad that he's still there with the guys before, during, and after the games though, even if he isn't playing.
