My thoughts is that it should take away some of the passing and potentially turn it into playing the long ball. I think our D would take the biggest hit against their speed in the rain.

Outside of Lahm the German defense is shaky against the speed of a team like Portugal with Ronaldo. It's a good thing Neuer is world class.
