Certainly my favorite game thus far, other that the Spain and Uruguay games, which I enjoyed for different reasons.

Nederlands winning and this one have been my favorites so far. Started off slow, with both teams looking quite sloppy, but came up big after the first goal.

 

 

I thought this was going to be a draw, but amazing finish by the Swiss.

It's pretty clear to me all you can do in this World Cup is attack and strike without hesitation. If you play defense you will give up a goal. The team that takes their chances with conviction and precision will win.

By the way, according to the rule a shot on target and off a player and in is NOT an own goal.

Benzema will most likely be given the hat trick.

The shot rebounded off the bar. It's a grey area but in my opinion the goal line technology worked flawlessly. I can't imagine why the announcers were suggesting controversy unless they had a producer in their ear looking for a storyline.

Yeah the argument was that when Valladores tried to save it he put it in.

But according to the rule if a shot is on target and redirects off a player it's a goal for the offensive player meaning Benzema gets the trick.

And yes, the goal line technology worked great.
