went back in March for business, stayed at the Hilton Riverside down near the Quarter... Food was unfreakinbelievable and the women were good lookin, (not sure if they were locals or tourists though). The French Quarter is overrated imo. Personally, I left kind of feeling a little icky. Not to mention it sucked seeing so many bums with dogs. If you can't feed yourself, how you going to feed a dog that is completely dependent on your own well-being?

 

Bar man at the hotel was cool and insightful. He'd lived there for 45 years and swears that Katrina was a "cleansing", both spiritually and socially for the city. He likened it to nature's way of pruning.

 

Overall was a pretty fun trip, but nothing could deter my hatred for the Saints.
