If Double Trouble returns...?

But he's also not the 2017-2018 guy everyone thinks he is. He still has ample gas left in the tank

He will be a ever so slightly worse version of the 2013 guy.

That is the issue. Better options will exist....he will likely be the 4th best rush threat on the team yet paid like a boss

I really think if our passing game is very effective we won't have to face stacked boxes which would free up Double Trouble. I would love to see them return to form. I have to say that I am happy we have a stable of running backs. All I can think of is that year when we road Smitty to the NFC championship and basically had no one to run the ball. That game still hurts :(. I think fans worry too much about salary caps. I leave that up to the front office. Dwill has been effective and adding Stew to share the workload can only help matters. I just don't want to see Cam leading in rushing.

Again, I think he will be good. 2014 he will be a rookie though.....one who likely could of used one more year of college if he was going to be ready to be legit as a rookie from day 1.

And when Amini went down we for better.....better with a broken down Wharton

I'm a pretty optimistic guy, although Turner, Amini, & Kugbilla might not be talented as Star and KK coming out of college I believe the trio will  turn the interior of the OL into a strength like the DT's did last year! Along with the use of two TE set and KB  I believe our Offense is going to be Top 5 and lead the league in rushing!

Stewart - 1,000 + yds

D-Lo- 800 + yds

Tolbert- 500 yds

Cam- 500 yds

woah there. For us to be top 5 offense we'd need a divine intervention. I'm as optimistic as the next guy and I do believe our interior line will be stronger, but I doubt we'll be even a top 15 offense. We'd need KB to play like a 10 veteran Hall of Famer his first year and Bell and Chandler to both make the Pro Bowl for us to be top 5 offense. And I could see Stew and DeAngelo coming back it'd be very hard for them to each get 1000 if Cam and Tolbert and some of our other backs are in the picture too. Wouldn't get enough carries if all 4+ of them are splitting. For Deangelo and Stew to come back strong they'd have to be a straight 1-2 punch. Not a 1-2-3-4 punch with Cam and Mike.

Actually no what we need is a maturation of QB check, a top 5 defense that consistently gives us 3 and out check, a solid TE check, Great RB corp check, blah blah...  If Cam and co. could do it in his rookie season with no defense and minimum  off season then a mature QB & Coach, a Top notch defense, and younger OL will propel us to top 5 barring no serious injuries.

As a rookie, Cam had a better OL than we are projected to have in 2014. OL is a huge question mark.

WR corp projects weaker than his rookie year as we

RB corp does too. Issue is in Carolina we view our backfield as great. It isn't anymore.

So a claim of a top 5 O....seems a reach IMO. Also add into the fact out goal is ball control.....if we do what we want successfully we aren't suppose to a top 5 O

Exactly those are projection and nothing more ! IMO we break those expectation.

A top 5 O means our D likely blows

If our D is dominant.....we are designed and our goal is ball control which means we don't want top 5 O stats.

People complain about stats, but with our "aweful offense" we won 12 games. That's the most important stat to me.

Actually no when our D forces 3 and out, the Offense has more opportunities to score since the other teams TOP is limited by 3 and outs. In the 1st half of the 2013 season the offense was scoring average of 25.5 pts a game but  could have been more throughout out the season if it was not for multiple red-zone failure. This year improvement in the OL, healthy RB corp and bigger receiving threat will change that

Why don't we make a bet?
