Bill Voth's June 11 OTA Impressions

I've been trying to figure out who at WR will make the roster, but it seems pretty open. If I had to guess based off where I see these guys in August...

 

1) Kelvin Benjamin- Safe considering he was our 1st rounder.

2) Jericho Cotchery- Veteran red zone target to help out Benjamin.

3) Jason Avant- Veteran possession WR. (Wouldn't surprise me if like Ginn last year, Avant has his best year as a pro in 2014)

4) Brenton Bersin- I think Bersin's a sleeper to make the roster and potentially a starter next year.

5) Tavarres King or Marvin McNutt- Depends if we're looking for a big receiver with McNutt or a possession receiver in King.

6) Philly Brown- I think he wins out in the PR/KR game and earns a spot beating out Underwood for the final spot.

I think underwood will make it, if not solely based on the fact he signed a 2 year deal

I think avant will be cut, then resigned week 2. People keep talking up bersin, I'm still not buying it. Only special K and cothery are locks, the other four are wide open. King has a small lead, with underwood & mcnuttortron behind him.

Funny how I expect this type of coverage from the Observer at minimum.

Admire the work ethic here, but if I graduated from Stanford there would be nothing in the world that would keep me from letting my folks watch me walk across that stage.

Some people just aren't into the pageantry and whatnot of formal graduations and the like. I was the first person in my family to graduate college and I graduated a prestigious college that is one of the oldest in the nation. I didn't go to my graduation. Then again, I also got married deep in the middle of the Rocky Mountains in a very small, informal ceremony.
