Closest comparison to Elway in a while has been Cam.

 

I think they may have a very similar career paths.

Elway would give away Peyton's first born in exchange for Cam being the face of the Broncos for the next 10 years,  once Peyton finally retires,  probably after this season.

There's no doubt that Cam has unlimited potential. I hope that our o-line can keep him upright...

Considering Manning's age and their near-future-need for a QB...I believe Elway's creepin'.

and hes willing to pay an elite qb.

Especially given that 1) Elway has built a successful team and 2( as a player, Elway was the same kind of quarterback that Newton is.

To some degree, high complete percentage doesn't mean high accuracy, for example, more screen pass will sure lead to a better completion percentage, you know that right?

Lol unless you want to analyze every elway throw vs every cam throw and see who was more accurate on the long ball vs screen passes then you have no idea wtf you are talking about.

Hey I'm not the one who is using their rosy memories of elway to paint who is more accurate. I am going by statistics. If you don't want to go indepth with better advanced statistics by making such an assertion than you should of never said anything in the first place.
