Does Josh Norman Grow up this year?

Recommended Posts

Quit hating on the guy. If Norman does get it together people gonna be eating crow. Just cause he isnt Stanford Richard Sherman doesn't make the guy an idiot, or any more of an idiot than any other NFL starting CB

It's not hating, he sucks. We're all panther fans we won't him to do well, but he just can't get right.

Other notables:

Cornerback Josh Norman had a great interception and another pass breakup Wednesday. Norman intercepted Derek Anderson’s long pass intended for Toney Clemons, catching the ball with his left hand while falling down. Later he broke up a pass intended for Marcus Lucas.
Fullback Michael Zordich did not practice as he continued to rehab a torn ACL from last season. Guard Edmund Kugbila also did not practice. He has not for the entire OTA weeks.
Guard Chris Scott missed practice Wednesday. Rivera said it had to do with conditioning, health and “some other things.”

Just because Norman has screwed up doesn't mean we can't give him another shot. Beggars can't be choosers and right now we are beggars at the CB position. Norman has some natural skills that are worth seeing if they can work with us.

Norman and White could be a very solid duo in our defense. If the front 7 does their job we can let those guys use their size and arms to be physical. I think our secondary is actually going to take a step forward from last year. My only concern is Roman Harper but I see him more as a role player than a starter.

When a team throws the same slant route at you all the way down the field.....

that falls on coaching as well.

im no Norman fan, but i always thought he was more of a press/man CB stuck in carolina zone scheme. the panthers do run some press bail coverages, but not much. White is an ideal cover 2 CB, because of his size, and physical ability to play the flat and run. i think he is also a tad over hyped by the huddle,
