We should only draft SFs that are as good as or can stop Lebron, Melo, or KD??

We will be waiting awhile

Problem is I don't think he's as good or could stop.

Jeff Green

Rudy Gay

K Lenard

Paul George

Nic Batum

Chandler Parsons

This isn't Adam Morrison. This kid can flat out shoot the ball. We need shooters worse than any team in the league. For those saying that drafting a guy at SF negates the need for MKG, you're out to lunch. It's an incredible thing to have two change of pace players at the same position that offer entirely different skills. To bring in MKG in situations where we need to protect leads or need to exploit matchups, it's a brilliant plan. 6th men are valuable in this league. We wouldn't know that because we've never had a starting five worth a damn. Plus, I think we could find room for everybody on this squad. There's nothing at all wrong with competition at every position. Never avoid drafting a player that fills an immediate need because he's "blocked" at his position. Good players force coaches to find creative ways to get them the minutes they need. This kid is a straight up dead eye shooter and we'd be lucky to get him. He has a jump shot as natural as any I have seen in a while.

By that measure, Steve Kerr should've been drafted in the top 10.

In other words, you don't need to spend a top 10 pick on a "shooter," especially one that won't be able to do anything else well in the NBA. Nothing else, and probably won't be as good of a shooter at SF or PF as he was in college.

We need a SG who can shoot and create his own shot. Not just a spot up jump shooter.

Young Larry Bird could handle the ball for his time. And again he played in a different time. Where 4' were mostly back to the basket in the paint players. Those times have changed.

And you're wrong Gerald Henderson has below avg. Handles and can barley use his left hand which is most of his problems.

No I'm not wrong. I brought up braking guys down off the dribble. Larry bird didn't do it. Then u bright up handle. Gerald Henderson most certainly and handle the ball. Not very we'll. which was my point.

Put a PF at SG??

People keep saying he's really 6'6".  I figure if he was athletic enough, he could be a very good SG.  I see him more as a SF than PF.  If that was the case, there would be conflict with MKG, and I don't want either to be a back up.  At the 9 spot, I want to draft a starter.

It's something to consider. Of course there would be similar concerns to him guarding the 2 as there would be him guarding the 3. At least he'd have the height advantage at the 2.

If he was athletic enough to make the switch, I would definitely be more comfortable in drafting him.  All in all, I think Stauskas is definitely our guy.
