What the hell is wrong with women?!

I'm not surprised. There are lots of women with low to no sex drive. I believe it could be hormonal but also body image. Women as a whole are so overly critical of themselves and it leaks over into the bedroom. Also, was this poll anonymous? Maybe they didn't want to admit it.

Lord knows women should take advantage of our beautiful bodies. By exploring ourselves, it only improves sex with our partners because we know exactly what we need. I'm thinking if they have ever has an orgasm before, how in the hell could they not want it again? A lot.

I'm so glad I grew up in a geek culture and we talk about things like comic books and video games instead of hating women or discussing conquests.

I stand corrected. Apparently men suck at talking about this kind of stuff and its all on us women.

Great.

Jeez Boo didn't you know it's not manly to talk about these subjects?

This correlates directly with the "man card" mentality. If you've ever told a guy he should have his revoked I'm looking at you.

WHELP, go ahead and put me in the minority category for age group 25-29......even higher minority category if le bf is out of town.

You're not a freak......lots of women do masturbate and just don't admit it, I wonder if that played a part in the women they polled.

Lots of women also assume that if they are doing that, it means there is lacking somewhere else in the relationship.

Neither are true in my opinion, you can only learn more about yourself which in turn helps you to help your significant other in many ways, one of which is getting you off faster. If you don't know your body and what you like, how can he?

On a side note- do guys really not talk about sex/sex related topics? My bf went to a bachelor party this weekend and I told him his project was to nonchalantly talk to the guys about what they do and what their girls like. I was hoping this would open his mind about things we do and to realize that everyone likes to get freaky in the bedroom in one way or another. After a few drinks, of course, once everyone is a bit loosened up.

His response to that was 'guys don't talk about that kind of stuff'.....

is that for real? b/c I can confidently say that when I'm with my girlfriends and we have a couple drinks, the topic that is always front and center is sex, foreplay, men, etc.

Plus, after reading everything you guys put on this forum, its hard to believe it never comes up.

My friends and I are the same way. That's what we talk about, freely I might add. Most of them are pretty liberal about things and admit to it. The rest say they like it better coming from their men.

To be honest, not many males can handle the topic (well, seriously, at any rate). They tend to joke about it and make bold claims. They'll also badger you and call you 'lonely' if someone else isn't doing it for you. It's a shame since ejaculation is actually beneficial. For instance, lowering heart rates and relieving stress. The only people who seem to talk about without involving name calling and jokes seem to be physicians.

Yep. We can all have the best of both worlds, so why not do it? It's great with a partner and great by yourself.

Something I just noticed. 25% of men 40-49 say they haven't done it in the pass year, And 20% 30-39! WTF this can't be true.

lol. That shiz has got to be Wrong.

Compare that to the men who are obese in that age group and I think you'll find your reason.

loss of sex drive is a legit thing. hell japan has a national culture that's increasingly asexual and is projected to cause fundamental demographic problems down the road.

hell i'm halfway asexual at this point; between a one-year-old, mismatched schedules with my wife, school, massive amounts of stress, and a general engine for accomplishing goals that often makes me feel like sexual indulgences are a waste of time and nothing more than an annoying itch to scratch at, it's definitely an incredibly deemphasized activity in my life as compared to, say, ten years ago when i was 18 and regularly embarked on beatoff marathons.
