NEs scheme is harder than ours for a WR. More is put on WRs. There routes are heavily influenced by what a D does and they are forced to learn what route to run based on what a defender does. We don't do that here

Half speed for a normal WR is still double speed for LaFell, no wonder he thinks he's working so hard.

He had extremely few drops his first few years, was one of the best in the NFL at catch rate. He didn't start dropping balls until he climbs the depth chart and had pressure put on him.

 

He'll be #4 on the depth chart in NE and won't have much pressure that way. If he makes the team at all.

I think his dropsies are blown way out of proportion. To me it was his inability to be a play maker more than his inability to catch balls.

I actually think Kembrell has talent, he just needs a really, really, really good wide receiver coach to help him hone it.

Drops and body control were an issue.

At times it was like watching Bambi on ice.
