Personally, I think folks like Shelby, harpo, and their ilk get off on being ridiculous. It gets them notifications. They can open up the Huddle and see that folks have responded to their spiel. Good work if you can get it. I guess.

IMHO, there were two circumstances that led to Smitty being released. 1) The amount of money we would have to pay him if we picked up his option. 2) We had to see what this team can be with Cam at the helm.

It may have been handled better. But it had to be done.
