Seriously....could you find any more stereotypical, generic, assuming statements to make to try and insult me? It's like Eminem in "8 Mile"....I could have told you everything you were going to say about me in that reply.

"Maybe you should keep up with the NBA"

"You didn't even know who Hayward was before this season"

"You don't like him because he's white"

"Do some research next time"

"You're embarrassing yourself"

It's been pretty well documented that Charlotte is more than likely going to have to overpay to get a top FA here. I think Hayward is a good player, but I don't think he's the guy we need to overpay.

Any why would I be embarrassed when so far everyone on this thread has similar opinions about Hayward except you. I may not be a numbers guy, but I know how to keep score. You're not winning.

You act like you're so smart....aren't you the guy who is all over Aaron Gordon's ****? Jesus....

Keep it on topic. Or...if you're going to try and talk poo at least think of some new material and stop copying what everyone else on here says.

Hell fugn yes!!!

I'm still on board with Gordon!!!

Shut the hell up. If your ass actually keep up with the NBA, it wouldn't be rocket science to figure out who the hell Hayward is.

Fools like you look at him and say, he's. " white". He's not that great. White boy can't play.

MothA fawker, Hayward is an all around player. It's damn hard to find that kind of player. The man does everything well. He shoot, he score, he defend, rebound, pass, etc.

Your ass would say the same thing about MJ if he was "white".

Next time you're going to spit something that retarded out of your mouth, do the research first. Don't embarrass your ass.

It's not because he's white....it's because he went to Butler and has been playing in Utah on a non playoff team.

I know right when have we ever had success signing a free agent who played for crappy Utah teams.

I think the biggest problem with signing Hayward is that hes a restricted FA- why wouldnt Utah match any offer?  They have no cap problems and a very untalented roster, if they didnt want to build around Hayward why not trade him at the deadline last year for whatever you could get and tank for a better draft pick?

I said that he was inconsistent and a head-case.

Implying that he is a risk/reward type of player.

If he keeps his head on straight he has the potential to be great, if he doesn't then he ends up being that guy that you paid $10+ million to, to be the guy that gets caught up in all the extracurricular's of the game.

I know what you said, and it's not the same as saying he's the guy most like to get a big deal and then flame out.

He asked for 12.5m a year deal and they said no. So offer him that and see if they match.

The team he's been with for 4 years won't pay him 12.5M....that should tell us all something.

Actually says little to nothing. If we listened to the Jazz and who was worth money, we'd never have signed Jefferson.

Most in the NBA didn't think he was worth what we paid for him...

I don't even know what this means...

What it means is that to some degree he's a lesser known commodity because he played at a mid major and he's been a good player on a bad team in Utah.  Both small markets.  Most people don't get a chance to watch him play much unless they specifically go out of their way to look him up on the interweb.
