panthers were 19th in the league last season, TD percentage in red zone, at a shade over 52%. that was down 7% from the season before.

unless i'm missing something i don't see where your first link specifically relates to red zone offense. not sure what your 2nd link is about as it is from march 2009.

I think youre right on both counts.. While I was looking for the stats/info, I had quite a few interruptions at work. Wasnt tryin to post bad info, my apologies.....

We were one of the best redzone teams for much of the season last year... but something happened to the offense after that Pats game and we couldn't score worth a poo. That stretch really killed our redzone rankings.

Before that stretch I think we were like #2 in the league behind Denver in redzone efficiency. Unfortunately for us we never got those woes straightened out before the playoff game and pretty much backed into the playoffs with a struggling offense.

probably more like everyone else in the league figured out what we were doing and how to stop it...and we didn't make any re-adjustments back.
