Another former Panther gets a new team

Word that LB James Anderson has signed with the Patriots.

 

While here, it was heavily debated whether Anderson was really good or "just a guy".   These days I'd say circumstances lean toward Option Two.

He was good in our system. A lot of linebacker's have been.

He struggled in pass coverage but was above average against the run.

However, he was not worth the contract that the Bears gave him.

Hopefully he sticks with the Pats.

i thought he was just a guy and wanted us to cut our losses...but then he got the starting gig and started producing and i though, "hey, i guess i was wrong...for the millionth time."  after seeing what he's done since getting cut, you know maybe i wasn't wrong. yay me.

I thought he was pretty good for us when we had a lot of guys who where absolute jokes. I hope for the best for him.

He was solid when he played for us. I was rooting for him in Chicago....but its gonna be hard to root for him as a Patriot :/

He had a good year when we had no one else who could back on dreadful 10. I liked him on our team but no more than a two down backer.
